Still Time to Get Away for the 4th of July!

Do you want to get away from the crowds and heat for the 4th of July and do something totally different? Teton Valley, Idaho is the place to go! Come visit the Grand Teton Mountains and enjoy the wonderful temperatures; Highs 79° and Lows 51°.   • July 1-Symphony on Sundays begin
  • July 4th-Parade, Rodeo and Fireworks

If this is not enough to keep you busy, you can go on a hike or horseback riding on one of our 15 local trails. Or maybe a water adventure awaits you on one of our surrounding rivers. The Snake River is best known for its level 1 and 2 white water which make it an ideal rafting spot for most of the rafting companies in the area.

The river meanders from the upper valley pastures and then gets to the level 4 and 5 whitewater. There are also three bridge areas to for boat launching and which are also good float options. 

Finally, the South Fork is 40 minutes from Dreamcatcher Bed and Breakfast and flows out of the 20 mile long Palisades Reservoir but then it extends to a 64-mile span of fabulous fly-fishing.  This river is also great for flat water rafting, canoeing and kayaking.
